In major earthquakes that have occurred so far, the strong shaking has caused ground liquefaction, resulting in numerous manholes floating to the surface. The floating of these manholes not only impairs the drainage function of the sewage system but also creates obstacles on the surface, hindering the passage of emergency vehicles and others. As a result, this has posed a problem that affects the relief activities for earthquake victims. The "Floatless Construction Method" suppresses the floating of manholes caused by liquefaction during earthquakes. [Features] - Non-excavation method to implement measures against floating due to liquefaction of existing manholes - Quick installation possible - Economical construction costs - Safe and reliable construction - Can be executed in a small work space without causing traffic disruption *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe "Seismic One-Shot-kun (Medium Diameter)" is a non-excavation seismic reinforcement method developed to add seismic performance against level 2 seismic motions by modifying the manhole connection part to a flexible structure before rehabilitation. The construction involves using a specialized cutting machine to cut and remove the existing pipes within the thickness of the manhole wall without penetrating into the surrounding ground. A stainless steel collar is then bonded and fixed in place, and two layers of seismic rubber rings with elasticity and water-tightness are installed. Elastic wet epoxy resin is filled into the gap between the manhole wall and the seismic rubber rings to secure them. After applying this method to the upstream and downstream manhole connection parts, the construction of the rehabilitation pipe allows for the seismic reinforcement of both the rehabilitation pipe and the manhole connection part. 【Features】 ■ Applicable pipe diameters are from an inner diameter of 450mm to less than 800mm, with a manhole depth of up to 10m. ■ Addresses bending, extraction, and protrusion of pipes due to level 2 seismic motions. ■ Does not affect the performance (nominal diameter, strength, elasticity, etc.) of the rehabilitation pipe. ■ The specialized cutting machine can only cut and remove the existing pipes within the thickness of the manhole wall. ■ Since it does not penetrate into the surrounding ground, there is no risk of damaging nearby buried objects. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis construction method involves cutting the walls of the manhole along the outer circumference of the pipe using a specialized cutting machine, thereby separating the edges of the manhole and the pipe. The cut grooves are filled with backup materials to prevent the inflow of soil and sealing materials to prevent the inflow of groundwater, enhancing the seismic resistance of the connection. Additionally, by installing absorption rubber blocks in the invert section, it prevents the pipe from protruding into the manhole during an earthquake, thereby avoiding damage to the pipe opening. 【Features】 - Manhole covers can be constructed with an internal diameter of 600mm or more. - Construction is possible for pipe internal diameters up to 700mm. - Seismic performance can accommodate a maximum bending angle of 5.0 degrees and displacements of up to 100mm due to level 2 seismic motion, ensuring the functionality of wastewater flow. - Minimal impact on surrounding ground, underground installations, local residents' lives, and traffic. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
