Free membership registrationIn bridge inspections such as those for unpainted or painted bridges, to efficiently and consistently assess damaged areas, it is essential to move away from inspection methods that rely on intuition and experience, and to adopt objective evaluations based on numerical data. By measuring the surface characteristics of damaged areas with a 3D scanner and analyzing the acquired 3D data using "POLYGONALmeister (Seikowave version)" with simple operations, it is possible to quantify and visualize deformations and output them as CSV files. By importing the CSV file into Excel and utilizing Excel functions, it becomes easier not only to understand the current situation but also to capture changes over time. This can be immediately utilized in reports, leading to increased efficiency in report generation.

Free membership registrationThis is a handheld 3D measurement device. It can automatically scan the entire circumference of small objects using a turntable. By capturing the white pattern light (LED) projected from a projector with a high-speed camera, it is possible to obtain 3D data and measure smoothly even while holding it. The acquired surface shape 3D data can be useful for evaluating the current state and risk-based management. Specifically, in bridge inspections and equipment inspections in factories, it helps visualize and quantify corrosion and damage, allowing for an understanding of deterioration conditions and serving as objective criteria for determining the need for repairs. With separately sold software, it is possible to conduct usability assessments based on the welding association standard WES2820. It can be utilized in various fields, including pressure vessels, bridges, concrete structures, and the acquisition of 3D data for cultural properties such as monuments. If you are interested, we also offer demonstrations, so please feel free to consult with us.

Free membership registrationThe "3DSL-Rhino" series, capable of 3D image measurement, is a 3D scanner for close visual inspection and evaluation that employs structured light methods. In infrastructure inspections such as weather-resistant steel bridges and painted bridges, close visual inspections are mandatory, and there is a need to efficiently inspect a vast number of bridges. This product can 3D measure corrosion, paint deterioration on steel bridges, and deformation of steel structures, allowing for efficient inspections with stable quality. Additionally, Seiko Wave offers contract measurement services. We support all-in-one inspections from on-site measurement to analysis and reporting using the "3DSL-Rhino" for steel bridges and the "Micro Scanner" for cracks in concrete bridges. Please feel free to consult with us. *Currently, we only accept contract measurement services for the Micro Scanner.

Free membership registrationAmid the increasing risks to the safety of aging infrastructure across the country, it has become mandatory to conduct close visual inspections of all national road bridges (720,000 bridges) and road tunnels (10,000 tunnels) every five years. However, the managers of road bridges and tunnels include a variety of entities such as the national government, major operators like NEXCO, prefectures, municipalities, and other organizations, leading to inconsistencies in the level of inspection work performed. Coupled with a shortage of personnel, this requires significant effort. Our company has extensive experience in inspections using three-dimensional (3D) measurement devices (3D scanners) for measuring the surface shape (damage) of steel structures and concrete structures. Currently, we are offering a "3D Measurement Inspection Case Collection" that summarizes our inspection achievements, including weather-resistant steel bridges (bridge inspections), piping and flange joints within factories, and corrosion inspections of bolts and nuts on tanks and bridges. [Contents] ■ Summary of this document ■ Introduction to 3D measurement devices ■ Case studies of surface shape (damage) measurements for steel structures ■ Case studies of surface shape (damage) measurements for concrete structures *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce Seiko Wave Co., Ltd.'s "Evaluation and Inspection Procedures for New High-Pressure Gas Equipment." By using three-dimensional measurement methods, we can quickly obtain more precise wall thickness reduction data, and based on that data, we can conduct a more accurate evaluation in accordance with the 0851 standard. We will measure and evaluate the corrosion wall thickness of pressure vessels based on the standards for setting the next inspection timing related to pressure performance and strength, as per the suitability evaluation of high-pressure gas equipment (KHK/PAJ/JPCA S 0851 (2022)). [Compared to general inspection methods] - Quantitative inspections can be performed, reducing the risk of overestimation and excessive repairs. - The repair period is shortened, leading to reduced equipment downtime and improved productivity. - It becomes easier to obtain Super Business Site Certification. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis document introduces the pass/fail judgment based on three-dimensional measurement and axial force evaluation of high-strength bolts and nuts that have experienced corrosion and reduction in thickness. In evaluating the reliability of flange connections and bridges that utilize high-strength bolts and nuts, it is essential to specifically understand the reduction in thickness of the nuts and assess the remaining axial force; however, there have traditionally been no established evaluation criteria. In this document, we determine the pass/fail judgment criteria based on the experience from refineries and factories, as well as FEM analysis, and present the evaluation procedure based on three-dimensional measurement data. We encourage you to read it. [Contents] ■ Introduction *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis document introduces technical information about the visual inspection of tank side plates using a 3D measurement scanner. It provides detailed explanations of the "measurement system" and "target inspection tank" using photographs. The method using a depth gauge has some difficulties in measuring accuracy and understanding the history of corrosion progression. Therefore, we conducted measurements using a 3D scanner, which we would like to introduce. Please take a moment to read it. 【Contents (excerpt)】 ■ Introduction ■ Measurement System ■ Target Inspection Tank ■ Inspection Results ■ Verification *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis document presents examples of analyzing three-dimensional (3D) measurement data using CSV format. We introduce a case where the corrosion wall loss is visualized as a color contour map from the 3D measurement data of the outer surface of piping, as well as a case where this data is output in CSV (comma-separated value) format. Additionally, we will briefly explain the principles adopted for visualizing the corrosion wall loss as a color contour map. We encourage you to read it. [Contents] ■ Introduction ■ Overview of the 3D measurement device "3DSL-Rhino" ■ 3D measurement and analysis of the outer surface characteristics of piping ■ CSV formatting of corrosion color contour maps ■ Conclusion *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
