In bridge inspections such as those for unpainted or painted bridges, to efficiently and consistently assess damaged areas, it is essential to move away from inspection methods that rely on intuition and experience, and to adopt objective evaluations based on numerical data. By measuring the surface characteristics of damaged areas with a 3D scanner and analyzing the acquired 3D data using "POLYGONALmeister (Seikowave version)" with simple operations, it is possible to quantify and visualize deformations and output them as CSV files. By importing the CSV file into Excel and utilizing Excel functions, it becomes easier not only to understand the current situation but also to capture changes over time. This can be immediately utilized in reports, leading to increased efficiency in report generation.

Detailed surface shape data obtained through 3D measurement and the analysis results based on POLYGONALmeister fulfill this purpose. Proximity visual inspections of infrastructure structures are mandated to be conducted every five years; however, there have been cases where sufficiently objective judgments have not been made. The analysis using 3D measurement and POLYGONALmeister enables the objectification of judgments.
