The "DUENDE BENT STOOL" is a new stool that focuses not only on its form but also on comfort and usability. Using techniques not typically employed in standard frame construction, we achieved a unique shape by holding one pipe with a crushed pipe and welding them together, resulting in a form never seen before. To maintain its design while ensuring it functions as a chair, the joints are securely welded from the back side as well. LAUNCHED 2020 DESIGN KEIJI ASHIZAWA This design, created by Ashizawa, who designs many products beyond architecture, is made entirely from a very rare 15mm square rod (a solid piece of iron) as its material. The heavy and robust steel rod is bent into a V shape, with the hook and leg parts at the same angle, and the support structure consists of the upper part and the legs, also at the same angle. I believe it can be described as a completed work of art made from just one material (UNO = one) and only two angles.
