We received a consultation regarding concerns about unusual noises from the motor and fan in the cooling tower. Although the customer replaced the V-belt, the unusual noise did not improve. We selected our engineering service provider and conducted an on-site inspection. After a detailed diagnosis of the motor and fan conditions, it was determined that the causes were wear on the motor-side bearings, wear on the fan bearing section, wear on the bracket, and wear on the pulley. By conducting the on-site investigation, we were able to confirm the problematic areas together with the customer, discuss any questions regarding the repair locations on-site, and consider the risks of equipment downtime in the event of future failures, leading to the decision to proceed with the repairs.

We have decided to update some processes at the customer's plating factory, and the production factory's customer will hold discussions with the plant manufacturer regarding the machinery and equipment. As part of this, Sanwa Seimitsu will carry out the renovation of the aging exhaust blower. In the zinc plating factory, plating tanks are arranged, and the deterioration of the exhaust blower's capacity means that the air exchange in the work area will worsen, necessitating the appropriate size and stable operation of the blower.
