GRP BRIDGE

Resistant to salt damage, lightweight, and rot-proof! Incorporating VI manufacturing methods with a durability of over 50 years in mind.

We would like to introduce our GRP box girder bridge (VI method). Using the power of vacuum to inject resin into the fiberglass layer, the "VI method" ensures that the resin permeates thoroughly, creating a uniform and robust laminated material for the production of various parts (deck, side panels, girders, bottom plates, and bridge panels). To prevent any degradation of the laminated material's strength due to influences such as ultraviolet rays, water, or temperature changes, the bridge body is completely painted, aiming for easy maintenance. 【Functional Characteristics of the GRP Box Girder Bridge (VI Method)】 - Lightweight, allowing for consideration of utilizing existing foundations. - Long-term use with simple maintenance, enabling a reduction in maintenance costs. - The shape of the mold can be designed, allowing for the creation of elegantly curved girders. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

【Pin Foundation Construction Example】Locations where standard foundations are difficult to install, such as sandy ground.

Simple foundation methods for NETIS registration! We will introduce examples of construction in locations where installation is difficult with standard foundations, such as sandy areas.

Locations where it is difficult to install a standard foundation, such as sandy ground, are introduced with examples of the pin foundation method. When installing a standard concrete foundation, excavation of the ground surface is necessary. However, in sandy areas, even if excavation is done, the sand tends to flow away, requiring a much larger excavation area compared to the size of the concrete foundation. In the case of the pin foundation method, it is very easy to install even on sandy ground, as it only involves driving pins through a stabilizing block. 【Example】 ■ Kushira Town Nakayama Pond Park (Kagoshima Prefecture) ■ Structure: Effective width 1.5m, column pitch 3.0m ■ Materials used ・Railing: Jatoba wood ・Decking: Ipe wood ・Structural materials: Bongossi wood, Angelim wood ■ Foundation type: SP *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Simple foundation methods for NETIS registration! We will introduce examples of construction in areas where conventional foundations are difficult to install, such as wetlands.

Examples of the pin foundation method in areas where conventional foundations are difficult to install, such as wetlands. In soft ground areas like wetlands or lake beds, traditional concrete foundations may not be suitable. However, with the pin foundation method, it is possible to drive the pins very deep, making it feasible to work with such weak ground. Additionally, since there is no need for concrete pouring, it can be easily constructed even when there is water on the surface. 【Case Studies】 ■ Hibikinada Biotope (Fukuoka Prefecture) ■ Structure: Effective width 1.5m, column pitch 3.0m ■ Materials Used - Handrail: FRP - Decking: Recycled wood - Structural materials: FRP ■ Foundation Type: DP-75, SP *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Simple foundation construction method for NETIS registration! We will introduce examples of construction in locations where conventional foundations are difficult to install on steep slopes.

Introducing an example of the pin foundation method in locations where it is difficult to install a standard foundation on steep slopes. In the case of standard concrete foundations, the weight can lead to sliding issues on steep slopes, resulting in large-scale foundation work. However, with the pin foundation method, it is possible to achieve deep anchoring by using longer driven pins, allowing for the easy construction of effective foundations even on steep slopes. 【Example】 ■ Nishikaibashi Park (Nagasaki Prefecture) ■ Structure: Effective width 2.0m, column pitch 1.5m to 2.0m ■ Materials used: - Handrail: Ipe wood, Jatoba wood - Decking: Ipe wood - Structural materials: Aluminum alloy, Angelim wood, Ipe wood ■ Foundation type: DP-M For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
