Sturdy! Lightweight! Great view! An FRP observation deck with four strengths!
As an example of the construction of the "FRP Observation Deck," we introduce the "Yamada Green Space Eco Play Park" in Fukuoka Prefecture. It is a viewpoint at the summit that offers a panoramic view of Kitakyushu City. The existing wooden facilities had deteriorated and required renovation. Since transportation to the summit had to be done manually, lightweight and high-strength FRP was adopted. 【Overview】 ■ Yamada Green Space Eco Play Park ■ Fukuoka Prefecture, constructed in February 2015 ■ W2.15m x L5m ■ Railing, floorboards, structure: FRP (pultruded material)

basic information
(1) Since it is a plastic reinforced with fiberglass and other materials, it is lighter and stronger compared to conventional structural members! - Its weight is 1/4 that of steel, allowing for reductions in foundation construction costs and transportation expenses. - It can be manually transported and installed even in remote mountainous areas where heavy machinery cannot access. (2) Resistant to salt damage and water, and does not corrode! - High corrosion resistance that does not rust or rot like wood or metal. - Contributes to the reduction of life cycle costs. (3) Good weather resistance as deterioration from UV rays and rain can be suppressed by surface coating! - Compared to general plastics, it can suppress deterioration from UV rays and rain. - Contributes to the reduction of life cycle costs. (4) Good aesthetic appeal! - Color selection is possible due to surface coating. - New techniques allow the bridge structure to be arched.

■FRP materials that are lightweight, have high strength per unit weight, are corrosion-resistant, and are strong against salt damage. ■Pin foundation bases that do not require the use of heavy machinery or excavation of the ground surface. Our company has introduced these two technologies ahead of other companies in Japan and boasts a wealth of construction achievements. We are involved in the design and construction of bridges, decks, boardwalks, and piers in national parks and theme parks that are well-known to everyone. By partnering with a Dutch company and introducing new technology using FRP materials, we have made it possible to construct long-span FRP bridges that were previously difficult to achieve. Furthermore, a durability of over 60 years is expected, making this a technology that can open up new markets in the future.
