■ Grid metal is a product that reinforces deteriorated RC structures by integrating with polymer cement mortar. By processing steel plates into a grid pattern, it allows for a thinner reinforcement layer, making on-site work more efficient. ■ It is used for reinforcing the underside and top side of RC bridge decks, repairing and reinforcing deteriorated box culverts, and reinforcing RC beams. By reducing the repair thickness, it enables a reduction in repair loads and ensures the maintenance of internal space. ■ Features of the grid metal method: ◎ Since it is processed in the factory to match the shapes of tunnels and box culverts, it can streamline on-site construction. ◎ With vertical and horizontal bars on the same plane, the reinforcement cross-section can be made thinner, minimizing the increase in dead load and favorably ensuring internal space. ◎ By applying corrosion protection treatments such as hot-dip galvanizing and epoxy resin coating, it excels in corrosion resistance and contributes to the longevity of structures. * For more details, please request materials or view the PDF data from the download section.

We would like to introduce a case study of the "Grid Metal Method" that our company handles. We conducted bridge repair work on the Nyu-no-ki Bridge, a first-class bridge built in 1964, located on National Route 120. To accommodate the design load from T-20 to the current standard of T-25 and to widen the road from 7.7m to 8m, we reinforced the floor slab.
