The new cable temperature probe TF-2000 provides reliable temperature readings for refrigeration, heating, and heat pumps. The temperature probe is dustproof and waterproof due to its measurement element being molded in plastic, allowing it to easily withstand frequent temperature changes from thawing and freezing. Additionally, the quick-mount bracket saves installation time. The thermometer can be mechanically stabilized using a stainless steel sleeve, which enhances measurement reliability in applications such as heating or hot water buffer tanks. The TF-2000 complies with the IP68 ingress protection rating. Even without using an optional probe sleeve, condensation or steam will not penetrate the measurement element. This minimizes the risk of failure, ensures measurement accuracy, optimizes service life, and secures the safety of the investment. The TF-2000 can be fixed in seconds with a brass square sleeve using the quick-mount bracket, eliminating the need to solder copper pipes. It can also be installed in equipment with multiple temperature measurement points, saving time and costs. The brass square sleeve has excellent thermal conductivity and prevents contact corrosion.

WIKA provides standardized data through the "WIKA Product Passport" as an intelligent feature. WIKA is a pioneer in the dial gauge market. WIKA equips the majority of its product range with standardized product passports. Customers can directly access product data and technical documents from the QR code displayed on the device. The QR code is based on an intelligent serial number that uniquely identifies each device. Currently, this intelligent feature is available on stainless steel pressure gauges and mechanical thermometers. The WIKA Product Passport contains information compliant with the IEC 61406 standard. Technical documents such as data sheets, operating manuals, certificates, and approvals can also be accessed at any time via the QR code. This allows customers to easily access the necessary information whenever they need it and efficiently utilize individual device data. WIKA is working on establishing and implementing universal standards for Industry 4.0 as a member of the Digital Data Chain Consortium (DDCC), which includes over 50 participating organizations.

WIKA supports the digitalization of gas-insulated switchgear with its new gas density sensor: GD-20-W. The wireless device, which incorporates a battery and wireless module, enables easy integration into IIoT environments. This sensor transmits measurements of gas density, temperature, and pressure via the LoRaWAN network protocol. It also features an alarm function for the three parameters and the battery status. The alarm function notifies when a threshold value is reached, regardless of the set transmission cycle. The compact wireless device GD-20-W is particularly suitable for retrofitting existing equipment that uses SF6 gas or alternative insulating gases. It requires no installation or maintenance effort. The battery life is over 10 years, depending on the measurement and transmission rate. The sensor calculates gas density from pressure and temperature values, measuring pressure at 20°C with an accuracy of ±0.2%. This device continuously monitors gas density, allowing for maintenance of assets as needed.
