[Construction Example 1] Detached House Roof Snow Melting (Hot Water Type, Concealed Method)

Peel off the roof metal sheets and install the snow melting panels! Use a powerful oil boiler as the heat source.

We would like to introduce a case study of roof snow melting (hot water type, concealed method) in a detached house. The hot water concealed method can be applied to both new and existing homes. In this case, the old roof metal was removed, and snow melting panels were installed. After 25 to 30 years of construction, the house itself tends to deteriorate, and family structures change, leading to a situation where there are no longer any snow removal helpers, making snow melting a more common choice. In mountainous areas, heavy snowfall can occur in a short time, with snowfall rates of 3 to 5 cm per hour, so a powerful kerosene boiler is used as the heat source in combination. 【Case Overview】 ■ Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture ■ Kerosene Boiler ■ 119 m² *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 2] Detached House Roof Snow Melting (Hot Water Type, Exposed Method)

We will install stainless steel piping with excellent long-term durability, or SGP piping with excellent rigidity!

We would like to introduce a case study of roof snow melting (hot water type, exposed method) for detached houses. For existing houses with new finishing materials or stainless steel sheet metal on the roof, the exposed method is suitable if you only wish to melt snow in certain areas. We manufacture fixed brackets to match the working range of the finishing materials and arrange stainless steel piping, which has excellent long-term durability, or SGP piping, which has superior rigidity. Compared to concealed methods, the atmospheric radiation from the surface of the snow melting pipes is greater, so it is necessary to increase the temperature of the circulating liquid, which tends to result in about a 10% increase in fuel consumption. 【Case Overview】 ■ Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture ■ Kerosene boiler ■ 134m2 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 3] Detached House Roof Snow Melting (Electric Heater Type, Concealed Method)

Combining PTC characteristic electric heaters for concealed installation! The construction cost will be relatively low!

We would like to introduce a case study of roof snow melting (electric heater type, concealed method) in a detached house. For small roof areas, combining PTC characteristic electric heaters with snow melting panels and using a concealed installation method can result in relatively low construction costs. PTC heaters have the characteristic of high output at low temperatures, with output becoming milder as the temperature increases, allowing for both fuel efficiency and overheating prevention. However, it is important to note that the breaker capacity needs to be about twice the rated output, and in areas with heavy snowfall in a short period, it may not keep up. 【Case Overview】 ■ Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture ■ PTC Heater ■ 21m² *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 4] Detached House Roof Snow Melting (Electric Heater Type, Exposed Method)

Measures limited to the north side of the large roof! Installing a heater net afterwards to effectively prevent the formation of snow eaves.

We would like to introduce a case study of roof snow melting (electric heater type, exposed method) for detached houses. After more than 25 years since construction, we received a consultation about wanting to take measures to prevent snow eaves from falling due to the neighboring house being built. Since the request was to only take measures on the north side of the large roof, we installed a lightweight heater net afterwards, successfully preventing the occurrence of snow eaves. With a capacity of about 300W/m2, we combined it with a type of controller that allows easy adjustment of the "remaining snow processing operation time" in case of any leftover melting snow, which has been very useful. [Case Overview] ■ Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture ■ Heater Net ■ 12m2 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 5] Detached House Road Surface Snow Melting (Hot Water Type, Buried Method)

Planned snow measures for customer parking lot! Delivered with a wall-mounted gas heating system using hot water!

We would like to introduce a case study of snow melting on road surfaces (hot water type, buried method) in detached houses. With the new construction of a store and residence, we planned snow measures for the customer parking lot. In the case of sole proprietors, if valuable time is taken away by snow removal, customer service may not be adequately provided, which seems to lead to many implementations in clinics, dental offices, tax accountant offices, beauty salons, and osteopathic clinics. In this case, due to the large area of nearly 100m2 and the preferential gas rate for snow melting in Ojiya City, we delivered a hot water system using a wall-mounted gas heat source. [Construction Example 6] Detached House Road Surface Snow Melting (Electric Heater Type, Buried Method)

An example of a circuit configuration that allows the front of the garage to be turned ON independently, assuming a decrease in the number of parking spaces, etc.

We would like to introduce a case where the area in front of the garage and the external parking space were melted using electric heaters due to the construction of a new residential building. This area experienced heavy snowfall, exceeding 100 cm per day at times. However, since it was determined that installing a boiler was not preferable for an all-electric home, an electric system was adopted. The area exceeds 30 m², and considering the potential future burden of electricity costs and the possibility of a decrease in the number of parking spaces due to changes in family composition, the circuit configuration allows for the area in front of the garage to be turned on independently. 【Case Overview】 ■ Tsunan Town, Niigata Prefecture ■ Heater Unit ■ 34 m² *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 7] Detached House Road Surface Snow Melting (Electric Heater Type, Exposed Method)

The snow melting mat that can be installed only in necessary areas has been laid down, ensuring safety!

We would like to introduce a case study of snow melting on the road surface (electric heater type, exposed method) in a detached house. In a residence of an elderly woman living alone, the approach from the entrance to the front road was about 8 meters long and was originally equipped with a water-based snow melting system. However, due to the slope, it did not melt uniformly. One winter, after she slipped and fractured her bone on the frozen entrance, she consulted us with the request for "something that melts reliably, not just water." We installed a snow melting mat that could be applied only in necessary areas, ensuring her safety. [Construction Case 8] Nursery School Floor Heating (Geothermal Heat Pump Heat Source, Hot Water Type)

A case of renovation to hot water floor heating using a geothermal heat pump (HP)! Achieved a surface temperature of 28°C!

Here is a case study of floor heating installation at a nursery in Kariwa Village, Niigata Prefecture. Initially, it utilized electric storage floor heating powered by night-time electricity, but in response to changes in energy policy, it was upgraded to hot water floor heating using a ground source heat pump (HP) with a high coefficient of performance (COP). To maximize the high COP characteristic of the HP heat source, the outlet water temperature was set relatively low at around 45°C. However, to ensure effective heating performance, the installation combined highly conductive heating panels with copper pipes, which also have high thermal conductivity, achieving a surface temperature of 28°C. 【Case Overview】 ■ Kariwa Village, Niigata Prefecture ■ GeoHP ■ 864m2 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 9] Accommodation Facility Panel Heater (Hot Water Type, Exposed Method)

27 panel heaters were installed mainly around the window and window sides, along with a fan convector in the drying room!

Here is a case study of delivering panel heaters to a lodging facility. When renovating a ski resort inn for foreign guests, the owner requested, "We want to achieve quiet and high-quality radiant heating throughout the entire building." At the time of consultation, construction had already progressed to the floor installation stage, so the plan was to install hot water panel heaters in each room. We delivered 27 panel heaters, particularly focusing on areas with higher heating loads, such as under and beside windows, as well as a fan convector in the drying room, which the owner was very pleased with. 【Case Overview】 ■ Nozawa Onsen Village, Nagano Prefecture ■ Kerosene boiler ■ 27 panel heaters and others *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 10] Renovation of a Traditional House - Floor Heating (Hot Water Type, Embedded Method)

While preserving the charm of the good old days, we also achieve comfort! We propose floor heating combined with a kerosene boiler heat source.

Here are some examples of the installation of floor heating (water-based, embedded method). During a large-scale renovation of a traditional farmhouse, we received a request to maintain its old charm while also achieving comfort. We proposed floor heating by embedding cross-linked polyethylene pipes in the concrete floor and combining them with an oil boiler as the heat source. To reduce the heating load, we laid insulation material on the upper sub-base before heating, and meticulously sealed the gaps around the foundation before finishing the installation. 【Project Overview】 ■ Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture ■ Oil Boiler ■ 47m2 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 11] Hot Spring Inn Roof Snow Melting (Hot Water Type, Concealed Method)

The heat source unit that was replaced a few years ago is still in use! An example where the entire roof has started to melt evenly.

We would like to introduce a case study of roof snow melting (hot water type, concealed method) installation. We received a consultation from a quiet hot spring inn that is typically hit by heavy snowfall of over 2 meters each year, stating, "The roof snow melting system installed over a decade ago is not effective, and despite consuming a lot of fuel, it melts poorly. We would like some assistance." The heat source unit that was replaced a few years ago was continued to be used, while almost all other components including panels, copper pipes, supply pipes, and controls were replaced. As a result, the entire roof began to melt evenly, leading to a resolution of the issue. [Construction Case 12] Complex Cultural Facility Roof Snow Melting (Hot Water Type, Concealed Method)

The concrete slab is cut out only around the perimeter, and snow-melting panels are installed! Aluminum composite three-layer pipes are used.

We would like to introduce a case study of roof snow melting (hot water type, concealed method) installation. In the construction of a highly designed complex cultural facility, the design was progressing with a structural strength capable of withstanding 6 meters of snow. However, due to concerns about the impact of snow falling from the roof perimeter onto the surrounding area, it was decided to incorporate roof snow melting urgently. The concrete slab was box-cut only at the perimeter to install the snow melting panels, and considering the long piping length and evaporation of hot water due to induced lightning, aluminum composite three-layer pipes were adopted instead of copper pipes. 【Case Overview】 ■ Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture ■ Wall-mounted gas boiler ■ 477 m² *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 13] Office Roof and Pavement Snow Melting (Hot Water Type, Exposed/Buried Method)

Melting snow on the parking lot surface and the office/canopy roof! A case study using exposed piping with SGP piping!

We would like to introduce examples of snow melting systems for roofs and pavement (hot water type, exposed method, buried method). In the process of rebuilding the office and fuel supply facility, it was necessary to establish a 24-hour system for receiving tank trucks, so we decided to melt the snow on the parking lot pavement and the office and canopy roof. Although it is a newly constructed building, the roof finish was corrugated metal, so we opted for the exposed method using SGP piping. Since the required temperature range for roof snow melting and pavement snow melting differs, we mixed the hot water from both piping systems to optimize the outlet temperature. 【Case Overview】 ■ Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture ■ Gas boiler ■ 688m2 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case 14] Elderly Complex Facility Road Surface Snow Melting (Hot Water Type, Buried Method)

Adoption of warm water snow melting construction! It does not hinder the parking and stopping of user shuttle vehicles, and also reduces the labor of the manager.

We would like to introduce a case study of surface snow melting (hot water type, buried method) at a senior complex facility. In the construction of a multi-purpose facility that includes serviced housing for the elderly, day services, and childcare support, surface snow melting was planned to avoid hindering the parking and stopping of user transport vehicles and to reduce the labor of the facility manager. Due to the difficulty of securing sufficient water volume for large-scale sprinkling of snow melting in a building facing a national highway, and considering that finishing the area from the parking lot to the approach in a dry condition would be more user-friendly, a hot water type snow melting system was adopted. [Case Overview] ■ Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture ■ Kerosene boiler ■ 253m2 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case 15] Communication Facilities Roof and Road Surface Snow Melting (Electric Heater Type, Exposed Method)

Mats have been laid in the vehicle access area and worker passage! This significantly reduces snow removal labor.

We would like to introduce examples of roof and pavement snow melting (electric heater type, exposed method) construction in communication facilities. To protect the aluminum alloy housing of an unmanned exchange station from snow load, electric heater mats for preventing snow accumulation were installed around the roof perimeter. Mats were also laid in the vehicle access area and worker pathways, significantly reducing snow removal labor. In unmanned facilities and remote locations, electric heating (either heaters or heat pumps) is more suitable than boiler heat sources, which carry the risk of fuel depletion. 【Case Overview】 ■ Niigata Prefecture, Shibata City ■ Heater Mats ■ 52m2 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 16] Power-related Facility Roof Snow Melting (Hot Water Type, Exposed Method)

The exposed method using high-rigidity SGP piping was selected for the roof, aiming to average the circuit lengths.

This is an introduction to a case study of roof snow melting (hot water type, exposed method) at power-related facilities. Following the roof collapse accident at a power plant in 2017, measures to reduce snow load on roofs were adopted at various power-related facilities. In this facility, a combination of conventional sprinkling snow melting systems and manual snow removal was used, but ensuring the ability to sprinkle water on the ground was also prioritized, leading to the selection of an exposed method using high-rigidity SGP piping on the roof. Despite the presence of many existing structures and a complex piping configuration, efforts were made to average the circuit lengths, resulting in improved melting efficiency. 【Case Overview】 ■ Tsunan Town, Niigata Prefecture ■ Kerosene Boiler ■ 477m2 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case 17] General Hospital Roof Snow Melting (Electric Heater Type, Exposed Method)

A design that allows for module-level replacement in case of future damage! This enhances the system's robustness.

We would like to introduce a case study of roof snow melting (electric heater type, exposed method) installation. When constructing a new radiation therapy building on the grounds of a general hospital, we planned measures against snow eaves that were a concern for the flat roof perimeter. As a countermeasure against scattering due to strong winds, we adhered a special rubber-based adhesive to the parapet cap surface, and on the flat roof surface, we installed it in a linked manner using brackets, creating a string of beads. Since the mat will be installed year-round on the rooftop, we adopted high weather-resistant products and designed it so that future damage can be replaced on a module basis, enhancing the system's robustness. 【Case Overview】 ■ Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture ■ Heater mat ■ 77m2 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Roof Snow Melting Introduction Case] Tokamachi City, Mr. K

Reducing the burden of snow removal! Here’s a story about a son who cares for his father and chose a roof snow melting system.

Mr. K from Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture, used to be confident in his physical strength and would go sea fishing with heavy loads on his back. However, after experiencing health issues and being hospitalized following a vaccination, he began to be advised by his sons about roof snow melting systems. He researched various companies and came across "Hokuetsu Yusetsu" in his hometown of Tokamachi City. He thought that directly melting the snow on the roof would be a better approach. After using the roof snow melting system for one season, he found that the dangerous work at heights was completely eliminated, and his physical burden was significantly reduced. Previously, he would handle the snow that fell to the ground with a snow removal machine, but now he uses a snow dump to transport the snow to a nearby river to wash it away. As a result, this season he didn't need to use the snow removal machine at all, and his sons are pleased, saying, "Dad, this is really great!" 【Benefits of Implementation】 ■ No more dangerous work at heights ■ Significant reduction in physical burden ■ No need for a snow removal machine *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Renewable Energy Geothermal Seminar in Niigata City

I hope you can deepen your understanding of the potential of geothermal energy hidden in Niigata Prefecture as of October 26, 2022.

The 10th anniversary commemorative project of the "Niigata Prefecture Geothermal Energy Utilization Research Association," which includes Hokuyetsu Snow Melt, will be held as the "Renewable Energy Geothermal Seminar in Niigata City" at Toki Messe. While many may not immediately think of geothermal energy when they hear "renewable energy," in Niigata Prefecture, where cloudy weather and snowfall persist during the winter months, there are few areas suitable for solar power generation. However, the abundant geothermal heat from underground water can be utilized. We hope that not only those who are unfamiliar with geothermal energy but also energy policy officials and environmental policy officials from various municipalities will attend and deepen their understanding of the potential of geothermal energy hidden in Niigata Prefecture. 【Overview】 ■ Date: October 26, 2022 (Wednesday) 13:00 - 17:00 (tentative) ■ Venue: Toki Messe, 4th Floor, International Conference Room ■ Seminar Participation Fee: Free *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Road Snow Melting Oil Boiler Version 'Mr. K from Nagaoka City'

We installed a kerosene boiler in the garage for snow melting; here are some customer testimonials.

Mr. K completed his new home at the end of the year and planned to finish the exterior work in the following spring. However, he was unexpectedly hit by heavy snowfall and struggled to clear the gravel path, managing to get through the winter. With the thought of "I don't want to go through this kind of trouble again next year," he requested a snow melting system and had an oil boiler installed in the adjacent garage. He expressed his satisfaction, saying, "The cost of heating oil is less than I expected, and it's nice to have more time to spare." [Overview] ■ Customer: Mr. K from Nagaoka City ■ Heat Source: Oil heating source 13m² *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Automation of Snow Removal: A snow removal system that serves as a substitute for personnel!

Attention those struggling with snow! Whether it's a new facility or an existing one, leave your snow troubles to us!

In today's labor shortage, it is increasingly difficult to hire even when job openings are posted, making it particularly challenging to secure snow removal personnel during the winter months. Many facility managers are likely struggling with this issue. We want to create facilities that can be safely used by three generations: "children," "child-rearing generations," and "the elderly." We often receive inquiries not only from private residences but also from facilities. Since various customers, especially the elderly and those with children, visit each facility, we often provide heated road surfaces (snow melting) using hot water circulation systems for the approach from the main road to the piloti and parking spaces, taking into account the convenience of transportation for users. Our snow melting system, known as the "non-water-spraying snow melting equipment," directly applies heat energy generated by boilers, heat pumps, and electric heaters to roofs and road surfaces to melt snow. We will guide you to a snow melting system tailored to your situation. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

【Safety Measures】Prevent accidents during snow removal! Snow melting system

Heavy snow is also suitable for disaster prevention measures such as building collapses, falling snow, and avalanches in mountainous areas!

Every year, multiple accidents during snow removal are reported, and it is necessary to ensure sufficient safety by conducting the work with multiple people and to remain vigilant to prevent accidents. However, in heavy snowfall areas where regular snow removal is necessary, the aging population means that some households are unable to perform snow removal at all, and there are often cases where busy work schedules lead to snow accumulation that becomes unmanageable after just a short period. In cases where snow remains, workers often go up onto roofs to manually remove the leftover snow. Our snow melting system is called "non-water-spraying snow melting equipment," which directly applies thermal energy generated by boilers, heat pumps, and electric heaters to roofs and road surfaces to melt the snow. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

【Cost Reduction】Effectively Reduce Winter Utility Costs! Snow Melting System

Attention those struggling with snow! Whether it's a new home or an existing one, leave your snow troubles to us!

"I want to install a roof snow melting system because my work is busy." We often receive such inquiries. However, if we try to address this with electric heater-type snow melting systems, it requires a significant amount of energy, about 300 to 350W per square meter. This means that even for a house of around 30 tsubo (approximately 100 square meters), the equipment would need to be around 30kW. In years with heavy snowfall as well as light snowfall, the basic fees will be a burden based on the equipment capacity. Our snow melting system is called a "non-water-spraying snow melting system," which directly applies heat energy generated by boilers, heat pumps, or electric heaters to the roof or road surface to melt the snow. The output can be easily adjusted through temperature control, and in years with light snowfall, fuel costs can be significantly reduced, making hot water systems suitable for heavy snowfall areas. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

Road surface snow melting (electric heater mat installation) snow removal, slip accident prevention.

Installation method for laying a rubber mat with built-in electric heater for a limited area.

We would like to introduce our "Road Surface Snow Melting (Electric Heater Mat Installation)" service. For limited areas such as in front of the entrance or garage, we use a construction method that involves laying down rubber mats with built-in electric heaters. In this case, on-site work typically involves preparing a power supply or installing a device to control the ON-OFF of the power supply, which offers advantages in terms of both construction time and cost. Additionally, it is convenient for long-term use as only the deteriorated parts can be easily updated. 【Features】 ■ Advantages in terms of both construction time and cost ■ Easy to update only the deteriorated parts even during long-term use *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Roof snow melting (metal roofing/W-type roof) snow management, snow removal, snow melting.

Handle the snow before it accumulates! It is designed to catch and melt the snow that comes in.

Our company offers "Roof Snow Melting (Metal Roofing/W-Type Roof)." In typical houses, the eaves protrude from the exterior walls in shapes such as gable, hip, or shed roofs, causing snow to slide off. In snowy regions, the snow that slides off these eaves can extend outwards (known as "seppi"), and icicles may grow at the tips. The "W-Type Roof" is designed to save fuel as much as possible and minimize damage from seppi and icicles by incorporating a triangular dam at the eaves of the roof, which catches and melts the incoming snow. [Features] ■ Saves fuel as much as possible ■ Minimizes damage from seppi and icicles ■ Incorporates a triangular dam at the eaves of the roof *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Road surface snow melting (electric heater embedded type) snow removal, snow measures, snow cornice measures.

Snow melting with electric heaters has a simple setup! The initial cost is relatively affordable!

We would like to introduce our "Road Surface Snow Melting (Electric Heater Embedded Type)." In the past, when using electric heaters for road surface snow melting, it was common to experience insulation failures within a few years after installation, leading us to tend not to choose this option as a first choice. However, in recent years, the quality of the products has improved. Additionally, snow melting using electric heaters tends to be adopted in all-electric homes due to its simple equipment, relatively affordable initial costs, and the fact that there is no need to worry about fuel supply. 【Features】 ■ There are products compatible with both 100V and 200V heaters. ■ No need to worry about fuel supply. ■ Often adopted in all-electric homes. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Guidelines] Roof Snow Melting, Snow Removal, Snow Handling, Snow Clearing

Construction guidelines for new and existing homes! Place snow retention brackets on the roofing according to the installation method and slope.

We would like to introduce the construction guidelines for roof snow melting systems at North Vietnam Snow Melting Co., Ltd. In the case of new residential buildings, work begins after the framework is completed, with roofing laid on the sheathing. For existing homes, the process involves setting up scaffolding, removing existing roofing materials, repairing the sheathing, and then starting with roofing laid on the sheathing. Roof metalwork can be done once the copper piping installation is complete, and snow retention brackets are placed on the metalwork according to the roofing method and slope. 【Construction Guidelines (Partial)】 <For New Residential Buildings> ■ Work begins after the framework is completed, with roofing laid on the sheathing. <For Existing Homes> ■ Set up scaffolding → Remove existing roofing materials → Repair the sheathing → Start with roofing laid on the sheathing. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Roof snow melting (tiled roof / concealed copper pipe) snow removal

It is possible to install copper pipes under the tiles in a "concealed type"! There are also examples of melting snow on the tiled roofs of temple gatehouses!

We would like to introduce our "Snow Melting for Tile Roofs (Tile Roofing / Concealed Copper Pipe System)." For snow melting on tile roofs, many systems involve exposed piping on the surface of the tiles, primarily using rubber hoses or SUS flexible pipes arranged along the surface of the tiles. However, our installation allows for a "concealed" method where copper pipes are laid beneath the tiles. In our snow melting system for tile roofs, we raise the tile battens and place thin copper pipes between the sheathing board and the tiles. However, due to the increased resistance in the piping, we cannot extend the piping length for each circuit, which tends to result in a higher number of branches. [Features] - Raise the tile battens and place thin copper pipes between the sheathing board and the tiles. - Due to the increased resistance in the piping, we cannot extend the piping length for each circuit, leading to a tendency for a higher number of branches. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Road surface snow melting (PEX embedded) snow shoveling, snow throwing, snow clearing.

Using continuous piping of one circuit and one roll! We will ensure that there are no joints in the buried sections!

We would like to introduce our "Road Surface Snow Melting (PEX Embedded Type)." In the past, polybutene pipes were used for road surface snow melting, but now high-density cross-linked polyethylene pipes (PEX), which are lightweight, flexible, and rich in workability and durability, have become mainstream. In the event of a leak in road surface snow melting, it becomes difficult to identify the leak location and repair the piping when embedded in the pavement. To minimize this risk as much as possible, we use a continuous piping system with one circuit per roll and ensure that there are no joints in the embedded sections. [Features] ■ Generally, we plan for embedding within concrete pavement slabs. ■ When embedding within asphalt pavement slabs, we use high-temperature resistant aluminum polyethylene composite pipes. ■ There are cases where construction is carried out while cooling with cold water. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Points and case studies on roof snow melting that you can't ask about now: snow melting and snow shoveling.

Introducing the points for roof snow melting! The northwestern side, where the winter seasonal winds blow, has a higher density of piping.

We would like to introduce the points and examples of our roof snow melting system. In cases where the central part of the roof has melted snow but snow remains at the eaves and gable ends, workers have to climb onto the roof to manually remove the leftover snow. To prevent such situations, we install piping all the way to the outer edges, and particularly increase the piping density at the eaves. 【Key Points (Partial)】 ■ Areas where snow tends to remain, such as eaves and valleys, are designed with increased piping density to enhance heat dissipation. ■ In the case of horizontal tile roofing, vertical piping is generally used, while horizontal piping is employed only at the eaves to prevent snow cornices. ■ We investigate the usage of the floor directly beneath the roof and design increased piping density for rooms directly above the north side, which tend to have lower usage rates. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Overview: Road surface snow melting, snow management, snow removal, slip accident prevention.

In addition to the PEX embedded type, there are also options for electric heater embedded type and electric heater mat installation type.

Road surface snow melting primarily aims to melt snow in areas such as residential entrances and in front of garages. Our company predominantly uses hot water piping for snow melting, but in cases of smaller areas, such as all-electric homes, we may select embedded electric heaters. Additionally, depending on the budget and the usage conditions of the building, we may also choose to install electric heater mats when it is difficult to dismantle existing pavement slabs. Due to its nature, road surface snow melting cannot retain accumulated snow like roof snow melting, which often leads to longer operating times. [Types] ■ PEX embedded type ■ Electric heater embedded type ■ Electric heater mat installation type *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Snowfall countermeasures! Roof snow melting (metal roofing/panel concealed type)

The sheet metal finishing is compatible with tile batten roofing, horizontal batten roofing, vertical seam roofing, flat roofing, and more!

"Roof Snow Melting (Metal Roofing / Concealed Panel Type)" is one of our representative construction methods. We lay our original snow melting panels under the metal roofing, and by circulating heated antifreeze through the pipes arranged in the grooves of the panels, heat conduction occurs in the order of pipes → panels → metal roofing → snow, melting the snow. This method is adopted in new constructions, when replacing aging metal roofing, or when one prefers not to choose exposed piping to reduce running costs. 【Features】 ■ Since the piping is embedded under the metal roofing, the temperature of the hot water does not drop easily. ■ There is minimal heat loss. ■ Running costs tend to be relatively low. ■ Numerous construction examples available. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Roof snow melting (metal roofing / snow shedding inducement type) snow shedding measures, fall accident prevention.

A structure that reduces the friction coefficient and induces snow sliding! Naturally sliding down before the snowfall becomes too heavy!

We would like to introduce our "Roof Snow Melting (Metal Roofing / Snow Slide Induction Type)." A snow slide roof allows snow to naturally slide off before it accumulates too much, thanks to its steep slope. However, depending on the building's structure, there may be areas where snow gets stuck or does not slide easily. To address this, the "Snow Slide Induction Type" is designed to slightly melt the boundary between the snow and the roof surface through heating, thereby reducing the friction coefficient and inducing the snow to slide off. [Features] - Slightly melts the boundary between the snow and the roof surface through heating - Reduces the friction coefficient to induce snow sliding *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Roof snow melting (metal roofing/M-type roof) snow shoveling, snow throwing, snow clearing.

Drain rainwater and meltwater through internal gutters! It is possible to reduce the heat dissipation rate to about one-third per hour.

Our company offers "Roof Snow Melting (Metal Roofing / M-Type Roof)." The structure, which features a parapet around the roof perimeter and an internal gutter at the center of the roof to drain rainwater and melted snow through the internal gutter, is referred to as an "M-Type Roof." Compared to conventional sloped roofs, it does not create icicles or snow buildup at the eaves, allowing for more flexible time constraints and reducing the heat dissipation rate to about one-third. While it is highly energy-efficient, this method is difficult to adopt unless implemented during new construction, as it imposes constraints on the building's structure. [Features] ■ Parapets are installed around the roof perimeter, and an internal gutter is placed at the center of the roof. ■ Snow moves from both sides of the peak towards the valley's internal gutter while being heated on the roof surface. ■ Unlike conventional sloped roofs, it does not create icicles or snow buildup at the eaves. ■ Time constraints are more flexible. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
