◆Collaborating with South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries On January 6, JGC Holdings Corporation announced that its overseas EPC subsidiary, JGC Global Corporation (hereinafter referred to as JGC Global), has jointly received an order with South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries for the construction project of Malaysia's first nearshore FLNG plant. This project is an order from the Malaysian state-owned oil company Petronas. In this project, an FLNG plant will be newly established off the coast of Sabah, Malaysia, for a gas field. Furthermore, through the virtual PPA contract, Clean Energy Connect will provide the environmental value of renewable electricity to Tokyu Construction for 20 years.
