Moving forward, we aim to contribute to the protection of cultural properties and the prevention of human damage as a method that can balance landscape considerations and slope preservation. 【Features】 - This method suppresses surface landslides (up to about 3-4 meters thick). - Rock bolts and unit nets are connected by pressure plates, and their interaction stabilizes the slope. - Its open shape allows for minimal tree cutting. - The lightweight components excel in narrow areas, enabling efficient construction and shortening the construction period. 【Reasons for Adoption in Major Historic Sites and Cultural Properties】 - Landscape considerations are required near historical cultural properties. - The construction sites and access routes are narrow, making it impossible to secure large construction yards for methods like shotcrete frame construction. (The unit net is lightweight and easy to transport, eliminating the need for large construction yards.) - Cost reduction and shorter construction periods are possible compared to conventional methods, such as frame construction with rock bolts.

The high-durability STK net is a rust-free polyester hexagonal net that serves as an alternative to metal wire. Originally developed as a net for marine aquaculture, it has been repurposed for land applications and is used for various purposes such as rockfall prevention, sediment control, wildlife damage prevention, and fall prevention. It is ideal for areas along the coast where salt damage is a concern, volcanic regions with acidic gas emissions, and cultural properties or scenic areas where aesthetics are important. It contributes to improved weight and workability, being about one-fifth the weight of traditional metal wire.
