This is an organization established to promote PDC, which can conduct ground liquefaction assessments more economically and efficiently than conventional methods.

The PDC Consortium is an organization established by companies participating in the theme "Demonstration and Dissemination of Dynamic Penetration Tests to Measure Pore Water Pressure" of the 2011 project of the National Association of Geological Survey Industries, aimed at promoting PDC to conduct liquefaction assessment of the ground more economically and efficiently than traditional methods. The goal of the PDC Consortium is to contribute to the reduction of future liquefaction damage by utilizing PDC to gain a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the ground's strength against liquefaction. Additionally, within the PDC Consortium, a committee of scholars has been established to conduct technical studies to promote and enhance the ground investigation methods using PDC as a new liquefaction survey method. Committee members include university professors and researchers from institutions such as the Public Works Research Institute and the Port and Airport Research Institute.
