The fan manufacturing company Ziehl-Abegg has expanded its manufacturing portfolio and accelerated production towards Industry 4.0. An initial investment of 28 million euros was made for the construction of a new factory in the Hohenlohe Business Park and for in-house resin production. The high-efficiency plug fan 'ZAbluefin' handled by Zeal Abegg Japan has received the "HVAC&R AWARD 2018 Special Jury Prize." This product is designed based on 3D biomimicry inspired by the fins of humpback whales, achieving a maximum efficiency of 79%. It also realizes a noise reduction of up to -7dB.
