Why is the shade of a corrugated roof hot while the shade of a tree is cool, even though the wind passes through and the temperature remains the same? The answer is "radiant heat." Radiant heat refers to electromagnetic waves such as far-infrared radiation. When you have a bonfire in a drum can, your body warms up even though the wind is blowing. In this way, radiant heat moves from the hotter area (the drum can) to the cooler area (the human body), transferring heat regardless of the air temperature. Heat countermeasures + used as packaging material

[Construction Example] Solving malfunctions and deformation caused by heat when transporting precision machinery by sea.

We use ThermoBarrier S as packaging material for maritime transport. Instead of using standard containers, we pack the products in specially designed large wooden boxes for maritime transport. The products being transported are precision machinery that is sensitive to heat, and since they may pass through the equator, we package them with ThermoBarrier S and additionally wrap the entire large wooden box with ThermoBarrier S for transport. Originally, we were able to transport without any issues up until about 3 to 4 years ago, but we began to experience malfunctions and deformations due to heat. Therefore, we started using ThermoBarrier S as packaging material, and we have not encountered any problems since. Now, we use "ThermoBarrier S" as packaging and heat insulation material during maritime transport.
