The barometer of human prosperity and culture is said to be proportional to the consumption of thermal energy. Currently, thermal energy sources include coal, gas, electricity, and nuclear power, but since these are all finite resources on Earth, we must maximize conservation to ensure that humanity can use them indefinitely. Additionally, from the perspective of reducing CO2, which is a cause of global warming, we must also decrease their usage. In response to this great desire worldwide, we have been contributing to society with porous energy-saving materials that align with the times, while meeting the demands of a rapidly growing industry since our establishment in 1947 in Nanao, which has a reserve of 2.5 billion tons of diatomaceous earth. In recent years, we have been pursuing four types of pore structures and have been continuously working on energy-saving technology development and new product development.
