In the past, with the materials and methods used, when there were significant unevenness or height differences in the pavement joints, the strong grass joint sheet would float above the pavement. Additionally, it was difficult to apply, leading to poor workability. However, by changing the materials and methods this time, it has become applicable even to joints with unevenness and height differences. Furthermore, using a roller for pressing has improved workability. Previously, both adhesive and sealing materials were used, but now it is possible to achieve adhesion and sealing with just "Adhesive D Touch." Additionally, the process of spreading the adhesive on the sheet with a notched trowel has been eliminated, resulting in a reduction of tools and less mess when applying the sheet.

Since this is a visible area in front of the station, we want to keep it clean. - During the weed growth season, we request mowing from the Silver Human Resources Center twice a month. ◆Material Selection POINT◆ - For weed prevention in joints, we usually use "joint barrier sheets (L-shaped)," but due to the uneven surface of the block stones, installation of the sheets is difficult. We selected a weed prevention rubber coat that can be applied to any shape. ◆Customer Feedback◆ - Even after four months, we are able to effectively suppress the weeds, maintaining the appearance of the area in front of the station. - The frequency of mowing during the hot season when weeds thrive has decreased, resulting in reduced management costs.

◆Site Conditions◆ - The landscape was compromised due to overgrown weeds. - There were supports around the joints, making it labor-intensive when using sheet-type weed control materials. ◆Impressions After Construction◆ - The surface of the NEO sealing hardened quickly, requiring frequent leveling work. (This may vary depending on weather and site conditions.) - One month later, during the peak of weed growth, it has been effectively suppressed. This leads to a reduction in the labor required for weeding that was previously done every time weeds appeared.
