Free membership registrationThis product is primarily designed for installation on slopes. For those who want to prevent erosion (slope protection) but do not want to grow plants, a product has been developed by Takino Filter Inc., a manufacturer of slope protection materials. It features a three-layer structure of different non-woven fabrics: a weed prevention layer, a shading layer, and an erosion prevention layer. *Patent obtained. The three layers are integrated into a mat-like product. It has a soft and flexible texture designed to conform to even slight irregularities. 【Novelty】 Attachment of weed prevention sheet + erosion prevention layer (function) - It adheres tightly to the soil, preventing sediment flow and reducing sheet curling by tight adhesion. - It suppresses infiltrating water in the soil to prevent slope collapse. For more details, please feel free to contact us; TEL: +81-833-46-4466 FAX: +81-833-46-4678 Email: global-info@takino.co.jp

Free membership registration■What is BSC■ BSC stands for Biological Soil Crust. It refers to a sheet-like colony (population) of soil microorganisms formed by soil algae, lichens, filamentous fungi, and mosses that intertwine with soil particles and clumps on the surface. 【BSC is a natural phenomenon observed in the early stages of vegetation succession】 It naturally forms over time on surfaces such as eroded slopes and newly cultivated farmland. It can also be seen in nearby places like residential gardens. ■Novelty■ We utilize soil algae, which are distributed throughout the natural world [globally], as materials. Algae are widespread species confirmed worldwide, moving and dispersing globally with sand and dust carried by the wind. They reproduce asexually and coexist with local plants without causing genetic disruption, being treated as native species. 【Flow from BSC formation to plant growth】 BSC formation [soil algae, mosses, etc.] ↓ BSC formation prevents erosion and improves water retention [creating a plant growth environment] *within about 3 months ↓ Surrounding plants arrive and grow on BSC [herbaceous growth] *within about 6 months ↓ Surrounding plants arrive and grow on BSC [woody growth] *within about 1 to 2 years

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our Erosion Control Mats were used for disaster recovery work. The construction site is located within a natural park, and since there was a desire for environmental restoration by local plants, we chose to implement a natural invasion promotion method. Seeds were not attached to the product; only fertilizers and soil conditioners were used. Since vegetation takes time to establish, the method using our mats, which can exert erosion prevention effect by themselves immediately after installation, was adopted. 【Case Overview】 ■ Construction Location: Kumamoto Prefecture ■ Construction Product: MF-45R-5・10・30 (without seeds) used in combination with Reinforcement Nets. ■ Construction Details - Chosen to promote environmental restoration by local plants, we selected the natural invasion promotion method. - Seeds were not attached to the mats; only fertilizers and soil conditioners were used. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. Free membership registrationThis is a case where our Erosion Control Mat was used to protect the slopes around a sediment control dam. Since there was a desire for landscape restoration by local vegetation, the 'Type SP' was selected. In areas with gentle slopes, it was anticipated that the large surface area would catch rainfall, causing rainwater to accumulate and flow down, which raised concerns about erosion, so it was installed accordingly. [Case Overview] ■ Installation Location: Hiroshima Prefecture ■ Product Used: Erosion Control Mat "Type SP-45" ■ Installation Details - Adopted to protect the easily eroded sandy soil (decomposed granite soil) slopes - Installed in conjunction due to increased concerns about erosion even in gentle slope areas *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. Free membership registrationThe "Erosion Control Vegetation Mat" was developed with the belief that preserving soil and nurturing greenery through the relationship of green, soil, and water is the first step in a disaster-prone country like Japan. 【Protection can be achieved immediately after installation】 A slope protection and greening material that demonstrates immediate effectiveness. The erosion control vegetation mat is a product made primarily from polyester non-woven fabric (web) with a porosity rate of 97% to 98%. The web (high-porosity crimped polyester non-woven fabric) is manufactured in our own factory to our original specifications. This non-woven fabric, completed after much trial and error, is the core of the product structure. The Erosion Control Mats that consist of this web, can be simply laid on slopes created by construction work or disasters, and its unique fiber structure gently protects the soil from various obstacles such as rain, wind, freezing, and drying, while restoring the natural landscape. As proof of its technology, the multifunctional filter has obtained the "Construction Technology Certification" from the Civil Engineering Research Center.

Free membership registrationErosion Control Vegetation Mats are slope protection materials whose standard civil engineering unit prices were officially listed in the Temporary Supplement to Construction Price Index “Civil Engineering Cost Information” as “Erosion Control Vegetation Mat method (Curing Mat method)” starting April 2018. In erosion control vegetation mat method, the only currently designated mat is our Erosion Control Mat. Due to the recent global climate changes, such as sudden heavy rains and prolonged rainfall, landslides and sediment disasters have been frequently occurring in the country. The erosion control vegetation mat method is expanding its scope of application in prevention, countermeasures and recovery regarding disasters, and in road-related works.

Free membership registration【Erosion Control Mat Type BSC】 ◀Soil Algae Material (BSC-1) × our original erosion control mat▶ NETIS: CG-220006-A ▷What is BSC? Biological Soil Crust BSC refers to a sheet-like colony of soil microorganisms formed by soil algae, lichens, filamentous fungi, and mosses that intertwine soil particles and clumps at the surface. This phenomenon occurs naturally and can be observed in shaded areas of mountainous regions and nearby locations. Soil algae are not invasive or native species; they are protozoa that exist universally around the world. They travel globally carried by wind along with dust and sand. The BSC formed by protozoa serves as the starting point for vegetation succession. <BSC ⇒ Grassland (annual and perennial plants) ⇒ Pioneer Shrubland ⇒ Sun Forest ⇒ Shade-tolerant Forest> It is said that it takes about 20 years to form grassland in areas without a natural environment. The BSC mat aims to shorten this period. Please feel free to contact us; TEL: +81-833-46-4466 FAX: +81-833-46-4678 Email: global-info@takino.co.jp
