In line with the recent trends in PFAS regulations, our company has begun handling "Non-PFAS coatings" that do not use fluoropolymer resins. These coatings are currently being developed for use in baking molds and pans overseas, serving as PFAS alternatives that do not utilize fluoropolymer resins. Compared to traditional fluoropolymer resins, this ceramic-based coating has a lower processing temperature, resulting in less thermal damage to the substrate during treatment and an expected longer lifespan. Additionally, while the hardness is lower than that of standard ceramic coatings, the film's adherence is comparable to that of fluoropolymer coatings.

Screw calibration tools, molding dies, and other equipment can maintain optimal conditions for plastic molding. Additionally, when combined with nitriding, adhesion strength increases, offering the potential for further longevity.

With an appropriate surface roughness and slip properties, it is effective for transporting small resin products. It is effective against adhesion of substances such as paste, adhesives, molten plastic, rubber, and plating solutions. We offer a fluorine-based Type F and a silicone-based Type S, so we can provide suggestions tailored to your application. If heat resistance is required, we also have a high-temperature type available (heat resistance up to 345°C).

A non-stick coating has been developed that combines release properties and water repellency comparable to fluoropolymer processing (tetrafluoroethylene resin). It is effective against adhesion from adhesives, glues, and molten plastics.
