Motion Capture System Oqus Standard

Achieving high-precision 3D data and high cost performance.

The Oqus camera is the latest motion capture camera series from Qualisys's 3D motion analysis system. It can handle high-speed movements of up to 10,000 Hz while accurately capturing the position's precision. Furthermore, by synchronizing dozens of cameras, it achieves high-precision data acquisition at speeds of thousands of frames per second, even with hundreds of markers. Oqus performs 2D computational processing internally in each camera and outputs numerical data, resulting in low latency, making it suitable for real-time tracking.

Integration of gaze/eye movement data and motion capture systems.

Data acquisition linked to gaze/eye movement is possible.

The Qualisys motion capture system can be used in combination with third-party eye trackers to synchronize and measure motion data and gaze data. Furthermore, the measured eye tracking information can be input into the Qualisys motion capture system's dedicated analysis software, QTM (Qualisys Track Manager), where it is displayed as gaze vectors, allowing for gaze tracking. Of course, eye tracking data can also be output in real-time from QTM in TSV (text format) or protocols like MATLAB. *Please inquire about compatible eye trackers.

- Muscle tissue oxygenation measurement NIRS - Single channel [PortaLite]

Measurable in various areas and situations, such as the neck and shoulders, as well as the waist and thighs when sitting on a seat.

PortaLite is a portable single-channel NIRS system with a sensor part that has a light-emitting/receiving section and a main unit equipped with a battery, which are separated. The data measured by the sensor part is sent to the main unit connected by a cable and transferred to a laptop via Bluetooth, allowing for real-time monitoring. The independence of the sensor part from the main unit enables attachment and measurement on various parts of the body. Muscle activity NIRS measurement is possible in various locations and situations, such as the neck and shoulders, or when sitting, on the waist and thighs.

Introduction to Markerless Motion Capture - Measurement Procedure

Markerless motion analysis measurement procedure

Introducing the measurement procedure for the markerless motion capture Qualisys/THIEA system. The markerless dedicated 3D motion analysis software THEIA3D measures using a unique algorithm from the footage of multiple cameras and calculates skeletal model segment information. By combining it with the Qualisys high-speed camera system and hybrid camera system, it is possible to perform camera setup, calibration, measurement, and analysis all at once. The video showcases the flow from calibration to measurement and analysis of the markerless motion capture system. Portable Single-Channel NIRS Type 【PortaLiteMk2】

Supports high sampling and long-duration measurements.

The PortaLiteMK2 is a 1ch NIRS system consisting of a simplified sensor and control unit compared to the PortaLite, applicable to the forebrain and muscle tissue. With a high sampling rate (up to 100Hz) and approximately 30 hours of battery life, the PortaLiteMK2 can accommodate a wider range of research/applications. The control unit can connect two PortaLiteMK2 sensors, and by adding more PortaLiteMK2 sensors, the range of measurement applications expands further, allowing for simultaneous measurements of both sides of the brain, different muscles, or brain and muscle.

Markerless motion capture × industrial VR

Utilizing markerless motion capture technology for industrial VR!

The experience of industrial VR systems (BtoB VR systems utilized in manufacturing, construction, healthcare, education, entertainment, etc.) requires head tracking and motion capture technology using 3D position measurement systems such as optical and magnetic systems, necessitating the attachment of markers or coil sensors to the body. By performing head tracking and motion capture with markerless motion capture (Captury system), the need for sensor attachment is eliminated, allowing for a more flexible VR experience. Captury also enables tracking of hand movements, facial expressions, and tracking in casual clothing. *Captury is a system that allows for real-time markerless motion capture. It requires tracking software, cameras, PCs, etc.*

Motion capture system Oqus Underwater

The world's only 3D underwater motion analysis device.

Oqus Underwater is a groundbreaking camera that enables optical motion capture underwater. Its specifications are almost equivalent to those of the Oqus Standard camera, allowing for high-precision data output even with fast movements, just like the Standard camera series. Naturally, the measurement subjects only need to have reflective markers attached, making it less burdensome and allowing for measurements in a natural state. It is effective for data acquisition in motion analysis of swimmers, behavior of underwater robots, and operational verification of industrial equipment used underwater.
