PortaLite is a portable single-channel NIRS system with a sensor part that has a light-emitting/receiving section and a main unit equipped with a battery, which are separated. The data measured by the sensor part is sent to the main unit connected by a cable and transferred to a laptop via Bluetooth, allowing for real-time monitoring. The independence of the sensor part from the main unit enables attachment and measurement on various parts of the body. Muscle activity NIRS measurement is possible in various locations and situations, such as the neck and shoulders, or when sitting, on the waist and thighs.
