The PortaLiteMK2 is a 1ch NIRS system consisting of a simplified sensor and control unit compared to the PortaLite, applicable to the forebrain and muscle tissue. With a high sampling rate (up to 100Hz) and approximately 30 hours of battery life, the PortaLiteMK2 can accommodate a wider range of research/applications. The control unit can connect two PortaLiteMK2 sensors, and by adding more PortaLiteMK2 sensors, the range of measurement applications expands further, allowing for simultaneous measurements of both sides of the brain, different muscles, or brain and muscle.
