Scale prevention for simple humidifiers [Electromagnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 11]

Scale prevention for simple humidifiers! We will introduce a test conducted in a certain location in Setagaya, Tokyo.

This is a case study of a test conducted at a certain location in Setagaya, Tokyo (using tap water) with the electromagnetic water treatment device "Hydroflow." Using the Hydroflow HS38 model, we circulated and treated water from a 1-ton underground tank. We had been troubled by the persistent hard scale that adhered to the humidifier, but after treatment with this device, the scale (including silica) became soft enough to be easily removed with water washing. As a result, it was confirmed that the device is also effective in preventing the adhesion of silica-based scale. [Case Overview] - Test Period: December 1, 2008 - End of March 2009 (4 months) - Location: A certain place in Setagaya, Tokyo (using tap water) - Target Device: Humidifier (portable type) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Example of cost savings calculation when adopting a pool.

Introduction of a cost-saving calculation example when adopting Hydroflow for a pool.

At the outdoor pool of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, we were using an ozone generator for sterilization, but due to high electricity costs, we discontinued its use and installed three Hydroflow P160 (for 6"). As a result, we were able to maintain water quality safety, and we report this. The installation was made in March 2000 on a 150A pipe just before entering the sand filters (three units). The pool's water volume was 2,400m². 【Evaluation of Benefits】 ■ Discontinued the ozone generator, reduced the backwashing frequency of the filters to 1/3 and the cleaning time to 1/5, saving on drainage volume. ■ Reduced the usage of electrolyzed disinfectants to 1/3. ■ Overall costs saved approximately 1.4 million yen annually. ■ The water has become softer compared to before. ⇒ It has become gentler on swimmers' skin, eyes, hair, and swimsuits.
