[Legionella Bacteria Case] Water Purification Device 'Mecasera Device'
Introduction to the Legionella bacteria disinfection test using Mekasera water, with a demonstration unit available for loan and a collection of case studies provided.
The "Legionella bacteria" are gram-negative rod-shaped bacteria that inhabit soil and freshwater in the natural environment, possessing a single flagellum at one end of the cell body, which gives them motility. We adjusted Legionella pneumophila type 1 to 10,000 CFU/100mL and conducted an "experiment on the disinfection of Legionella bacteria using Mekacera water." As a result, when Mekacera balls were acted upon in the presence of residual chlorine at concentrations of 0.1ppm to 0.2ppm, the number of Legionella bacteria gradually decreased, and after 24 hours, no viable bacteria were detected.
