TG Method Parapet Wall Construction

This is a block divided into an L-shaped main body and a foundation block, to be installed on river levees.

The TG-style parapet wall features a structure divided into L-shaped main body blocks and beam-shaped foundation blocks, with the gap between the toe of the breast wall and the slope protection filled with cast-in-place concrete. This design enhances the waterproofing function to prevent damage to the embankment from water infiltration. When the blocks are integrated into a single structure, the complexity of the formwork leads to difficulties in concrete pouring and demolding, and the variety of slope types for the revetment increases formwork costs, resulting in a significant rise in product prices due to decreased turnover rates. Additionally, transporting and delivering the blocks, as well as installation and dimensional adjustments on-site, require considerable effort, hindering the efficiency of the laying work. Therefore, the TG-style parapet wall is designed to allow for adjustments in the cast-in-place concrete to accommodate changes in the slope of the toe section, making it a construction-friendly structure and dimension.
