Hexalobular socket screw
Reduce the burden on tools and the head, and suppress cam-out! Includes bolts, set screws, tapping screws, and more.
The Hexalobular recess, developed by the American company Textron in 1971, is a star-shaped hexagonal recess, also known as 6-lobe. The biggest feature of the Hexalobular recess is its high torque transmission efficiency, which allows for reduced tool load, miniaturization and thinning of the head, and suppression of cam-out during installation. Additionally, the Hexalobular recess was standardized as ISO 10664 in 1999 and as JIS B 1015 in 2001, contributing to the standardization of parts. This catalog features Azuma's "screws with Hexalobular recess" as well as a product lineup that includes not only bolts but also set screws and tapping screws.
