Steel beam penetration hole reinforcement method "PosiRing Method" [Shortens steel fabrication time]

A penetration hole reinforcement method that emphasizes welding volume and workability for small to medium-sized properties with many penetration holes below φ300, aiming for labor-saving efficiency!

The Posiring method is a construction technique that reinforces through-holes provided in steel beams. The "Posiring method" being released this time is a product developed specifically for small to medium-sized projects with many through-holes of φ300 or less, focusing on reducing welding volume and improving workability for labor-saving purposes. 【Features】 ■ No need for marking and flipping the beams. This can shorten the manufacturing time of the steel structure. By inserting the protrusion to align with the lower hole, positioning can be achieved, allowing the marking work to be omitted. Additionally, since flipping the beams is not necessary, the manufacturing time of the steel structure can be reduced. ■ Construction is possible with fillet welding. Welding volume can be reduced. The installation is completed by performing fillet welding around the entire circumference of the Posiring. Therefore, after assembly welding, it can be smoothly installed without the need for flipping the beams. ■ It has obtained evaluation from the Japan Building Center. The structural performance and workability have been evaluated based on full-scale experiments and analyses, receiving certification from the Japan Building Center (a public interest incorporated foundation). *For more details, please request materials or view the PDF data available for download.

Shizuoka Prefecture construction case study: Reinforcement method for existing rockfall protection fences - Noise control measures during demolition!

Noise, dust, and high alkaline water treatment measures during demolition are not required. It is a simple construction method.

Here is a case study of the "Stronger Method" implemented in Shizuoka Prefecture. As a result of the construction, the fence height increased from 1.5m to 2.0m, with a construction length of L = 30.0m. This method connects the tops of the posts with steel rods, allowing the load that was previously supported by a single span to be distributed across multiple spans. Additionally, in areas where there are concerns about insufficient fence height, height-raising materials can be used to increase the fence height. [Case Study] ■Height-raising type (Fence height: H = 1.5 → 2.0m, Construction length: L = 30.0m) ■Shizuoka Prefecture (Construction: Fiscal Year 2018) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

By using CF anchors in conjunction, the advantages of carbon fiber sheet reinforcement—such as workability, safety, and quietness—are maintained, while achieving high reinforcement effects for wall-mounted columns, beams with slabs, and seismic walls, similar to independent columns. The design and construction guidelines for this method are based on numerous experimental data and have received technical evaluation from the Japan Architectural Disaster Prevention Association. 【Features】 ■ Short construction period while occupied ■ Wide range of applicable targets ■ Significant reinforcement effect and high reliability ■ Easy construction ■ Wall-mounted columns can also be easily reinforced *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
