[Use Case] Significantly Reduced Takt Time

We will introduce a case where a multi-coupling was implemented to reduce mistakes during mold changes!

Since we strictly manage the takt time, the workers are rushing their tasks, which inevitably leads to mistakes and losses. Additionally, when inexperienced workers take over, the number of errors tends to increase, causing further issues. To reduce mistakes during mold changes, we introduced a multi-coupling system. This allows all 20 units to be attached and detached simultaneously with a lever. As a result, even inexperienced workers no longer make mistakes, and we were able to significantly shorten the takt time. [Use Case] Non-dripping Multi Coupling

We will introduce examples of how we were able to reduce the labor of workers and shorten work hours!

When replacing the die-casting machine's mold core, multiple hydraulic circuits are connected. However, the coupling of the hydraulic circuits is subjected to high pressure, making it prone to breakage, so we kept spare couplings on hand. Additionally, during attachment and detachment, oil tends to leak, requiring workers to clean it up. If oil leaks, air can mix into the hydraulic hoses, necessitating regular maintenance to bleed the air. Therefore, we introduced a multi-coupling that does not leak. This reduced the workload for workers and shortened the working time.
