The soil sampling device, Soil Judge, can be used to collect samples from soft ground by utilizing the remaining boreholes from SS tests and others. It allows for a remarkably large quantity of samples to be collected. Additionally, it has become possible to open the sampling device's lid at a specified depth, enabling highly accurate sampling at that depth. The use of hollow rods also allows for the measurement of groundwater levels. It is possible to collect samples directly even outside of the remaining boreholes.
