HDT and Bicat test system "HV Series"

**Presenter:** Shimpei Yamashita, Instron Japan, Materials Testing Division The load deflection temperature test (DTUL) and Vicat softening point test (VICAT) are used to investigate the heat resistance of plastics. These tests are applied in the development and quality control of resins that require heat resistance, such as household plastic products and automotive parts. They are also standard tests specified in resin material property data. In the first half of the seminar, we will explain the standards and testing methods, and in the second half, we will specifically address common issues encountered during testing, along with solutions and the features of our products, presented with videos.
