It is a seal with a built-in spring for plate pressure, used for both fixed and moving applications.

The Tacon® ValiSeal is a spring-loaded seal for single pressure applications, used in both fixed and moving applications. It reliably performs in applications where conventional seals cannot function adequately due to corrosive chemicals, high temperatures, low temperatures, extrusion, friction, and compression set. New Type High-Speed Low-Pressure PTFE Rotary Lip Seal

Since it uses only a PTFE seal lip and a metal seal case without an elastomer gasket, the chemical resistance and operating temperature range have been significantly improved. The unique spiral groove of the seal lip creates an internal flow during the rotation of the shaft, enhancing sealing performance and ensuring excellent sealing even when stationary. Furthermore, this spiral groove increases the flexibility of the seal lip, allowing it to make surface contact rather than line contact with the shaft, achieving low pressing force, which reduces shaft wear and heat generation even at high rotational speeds.
