**Performance** Valiseal is designed to meet the various needs of design engineers, taking into account the unique properties of our proprietary Tacon® and Zacon® materials, and is offered in a wide range of types for diverse applications. The particularly excellent characteristics of Valiseal are as follows: - Very low friction coefficient - Excellent dynamic and static sealing performance - Sealing performance at high speeds of 15 m/s (2,940 fpm) - Chemical resistance to almost all media - Temperature range: -253°C to +300°C (-432°F to +572°F) - Extremely good heat resistance - Maintains permanent elasticity even when in contact with chemical liquids - Does not undergo aging degradation - Low compression set - High pressure resistance up to 200 MPa (2,000 bar, 29,000 psi) when used with backup rings - Very good dry running characteristics - Compatible with grooves conforming to AS 4716 (formerly MIL-G-5514F) and DIN 3771
