"Pedia_Roid" is a pediatric patient-type robot that allows for a realistic experience of the struggles and movements of children who are resistant to treatment, as well as sudden changes in their medical condition. It was developed with a focus on the lack of clinical training opportunities for pediatric care in medical education settings, and it accurately reproduces expressions of emotions such as joy, anger, sadness, and pleasure, along with changes in complexion, pupil size, and breathing sounds.
