We would like to introduce a case study of a feasibility study (FS) for the introduction of robots conducted at the Mizuguchi Century Hotel. In this FS project, we examined the possibility of humanoid robots handling hotel front desk operations such as reservation confirmation and guidance. First, we conducted a business analysis related to front desk services, summarized the functional requirements that the robots should possess, and then considered the scope of robotization and evaluated the return on investment. As a result of the verification, we found that the feasibility of the robots is sufficient, and they are particularly effective for improving operational efficiency.
