This is an announcement for the 5th online seminar. In previous seminars, we introduced applications such as leak testing and bearing diagnostics as ways to utilize ultrasonic technology for maintenance. This time, we will introduce a new product. It is designed for bearing diagnostics and combines an always-on monitoring system compatible with IoT and an automatic lubrication device. Using ultrasonic technology, it is a new type of automatic lubrication system that supplies only the necessary amount of lubricant when the bearing requires it. I believe that lubrication with grease is often performed on a time-based schedule. But is it really okay to use the same cycle every time? The timing and amount of lubrication should vary depending on the operating conditions and environment of the equipment. The product we are introducing this time is an item that can transition lubrication from "time-based" to "condition-based." If you are interested, please be sure to watch. This seminar will focus on bearing diagnostics within maintenance applications that utilize ultrasound. It is said that among predictive maintenance technologies, ultrasound is the first to detect signs of abnormalities in equipment. We will introduce how ultrasound can be used for monitoring the condition of bearings through several case studies and audio/waveform samples.
