There are numerous achievements in water supply to remote islands and the intake of deep seawater. A composite structure polyethylene pipe with excellent corrosion resistance, pressure resistance, flexibility, long length, and earthquake resistance!
WNG is a composite polyethylene pipe that is excellent in corrosion resistance, pressure resistance, flexibility, long length, and seismic resistance, designed for transporting seawater and wastewater under conditions such as underwater water supply to remote islands, seawater intake, and underwater discharge. The installation work underwater can minimize the environmental impact on the marine environment by using an automatic burial machine.
Nominal diameter: 40 to 250
【Features】
- The inner surface of the pipe and the outermost layer are made of polyethylene material, which has excellent corrosion resistance, is strong against salt damage, and has high mechanical strength due to metal material reinforcement!
- Since it can be manufactured and transported on-site in long lengths, joint connections on the seabed are unnecessary, allowing for reliable installation in a short construction period!
- Compared to steel pipes, installation is significantly faster, and even when joints are needed, it is safer with a reliable fusion system!
- By utilizing an automatic burial machine equipped with an underwater water jet pump, installation at depths of around 100 meters is possible.
- Polyethylene pipes have low friction resistance and minimal scale adhesion, so there is no need for time-based additions.
In 2024, we carried out the replacement work for the underwater water supply and drainage pipe from Atami City to Hatsushima. The installation was completed with a single piece of 6,745 meters without joints! The installation at a maximum depth of 103 meters is one of the deepest for underwater water supply and drainage pipes in Japan.
