[Case Study] Replacement of Spray Nozzle

Introduction of a case where the revenue of a beef processing manufacturer increased by approximately 4.06 million yen per day.

We would like to introduce a case study of replacing spray nozzles at a beef processing manufacturer. During the cooling of carcasses, over 200,000 liters of cold water are sprayed for 18 to 20 hours. The conventional system was unable to completely cover the carcasses, resulting in longer cooling times. As a result, the quantity and size of the carcasses decreased, leading to a reduction in sales. The nozzles installed in the cooling chamber were changed to ProMax QuickJet nozzles. The cooling time was reduced by half, significantly decreasing water usage, and the carcasses were less likely to shrink, leading to an increase in production volume. Rehira Corporation has announced a newly developed spiral full cone nozzle based on its long experience, history, and achievements. This nozzle features the ability to spray at a specific angle with low pressure. The reason for this is that the fluid is accelerated in the vertical axis direction and sprays outward due to its spiral structure. This nozzle is designed to form multiple spray cones (hollow cones), which is different from a typical full cone. As a result, it can generate fine particle diameters. The standard material is SUS316L, but it is also available in other materials.
