[PDCE Lightning Rod Introduction Case] Rooftop of the Batch Plant

Installation of the wide-range PDCE-2020! We propose to include storage tanks and other areas within the protection range.

We would like to introduce a case where the "PDCE lightning rod" was installed on the rooftop of the Aso Central Ready-Mixed Concrete batch plant. The Aso region in Kumamoto Prefecture experiences frequent lightning strikes and has few tall buildings nearby, leading to several past experiences with lightning strikes. During significant lightning damage, production was halted. In response, we proposed the removal of the lightning rod that was previously installed on the batch plant rooftop and the installation of a wide-area PDCE-2020 on the 24m rooftop, ensuring that the office, ancillary facilities, and storage tanks would also be within the protection range.
