Lightning suppression type lightning rod "Lightning Ball (ALB)"

Adoption of a double-structured three-dimensional capacitor suppresses lightning strikes. Patents obtained in Japan and Europe and the United States.

The "Lightning Protection Ball (ALB)" is a lightning protection device that, by attaching an insulator to the outer circumference of an electrode that also serves as a support, and covering the protruding part with a spherical electrode in a double structure, generates negative charges above it as the positive charge on the ground increases, thereby suppressing lightning strikes. It has over 3,400 installations in Japan (as of 2020) and has pursued the prevention of "welcoming discharge" by further narrowing the area of positive charge compared to the conventional "PDCE Lightning Rod." The Aso region in Kumamoto Prefecture experiences frequent lightning strikes and has few tall buildings nearby, leading to several past experiences with lightning strikes. During significant lightning damage, production was halted. In response, we proposed the removal of the lightning rod that was previously installed on the batch plant rooftop and the installation of a wide-area PDCE-2020 on the 24m rooftop, ensuring that the office, ancillary facilities, and storage tanks would also be within the protection range. We installed our product accordingly. 【PDCE Lightning Rod Introduction Case】Musashi Mitake Shrine

A land resilience product that does not attract lightning! We recommend lightning protection measures using this product.

We would like to introduce a case where the "PDCE lightning rod" was installed at the Musashi Mitake Shrine, located at the summit of Mount Mitake (elevation 929m) in Ome City, Tokyo, which enshrines various deities including the main hall and worship hall. While it offers a panoramic view of the Kanto Plain, there have been adverse effects from lightning strikes during the summer. Several lightning rods were already installed on the premises, but they were removed and our product was installed instead. In cultural heritage buildings, which are primarily wooden, there is a possibility of rapid spread of fire if a lightning discharge is suspected to be the cause. Introducing a case study of lightning protection measures adopted to guide to an area with a radius of 100m!

We would like to introduce a case where "PDCE lightning rods" were installed as a lightning protection measure at an outdoor concert venue held in Yokohama. During the three-day outdoor concert, when thunderclouds suddenly appeared, there were no nearby buildings capable of safely guiding approximately 10,000 attendees per day to a safe location. Therefore, our product was installed on a high-altitude work vehicle at a height of about 20 meters above ground, and it was adopted as a lightning protection measure to guide people to an area with a radius of 100 meters. The number of event organizers implementing lightning protection measures using our product at outdoor summer events is increasing.
