Concrete Bridge Condition Survey Service

We will investigate the condition of the concrete bridge through physical exploration.

Our company conducts concrete bridge condition surveys using physical exploration methods. Infrared thermography allows us to investigate areas that are otherwise inaccessible. By identifying the differences in radiative temperatures between deteriorated and sound areas, we can pinpoint the deteriorated sections and use this as a basis for detailed investigations. Additionally, we measure the minute vibrations from impacts using elastic wave tomography to determine the distribution of elastic wave (P-wave) velocities within the concrete. We evaluate the condition of the measurement points based on the correlation between the condition and the elastic wave velocity. Using RC radar, we non-destructively detect deformations within the concrete that cannot be visually confirmed.
