We would like to introduce a case study of our project converting mercury lamps to LED. We conducted on-site illuminance measurements to understand the conditions of the site. The existing mercury lamp was an MF700, but upon calculating the illuminance, we found that it was possible to achieve the required brightness without needing to use an MF700 class. In other words, "this is what we have now, so this is what we need" leads to over-specification. We submitted estimates focusing on both standard brightness and enhanced brightness, and they chose the option that emphasized brightness. Although it was a time when obtaining products was difficult due to semiconductor shortages, the client's quick decision-making allowed us to secure the products smoothly. We would like to introduce a case study of landscape lighting installation at the scenic spot "Mitsushima" located in Toba City, Mie Prefecture. It seems that city officials had previously conducted a lighting test using mercury vapor floodlights, but the light did not reach at all, and they had given up. Since the distance to "Mitsushima" is 700 meters, it is natural that ordinary floodlights would not reach the light. We would like to introduce a case study of landscape lighting installation at the World Heritage site "Shiraito Falls." There were various regulations, impacts on flora and fauna, and a situation where installation of structures such as scaffolding was not possible. Due to the nature of being a national scenic spot and natural monument, there were high hurdles for the lighting up. We created a large guard for mist control and supplied all power from a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Due to permit regulations, it was a "one-night-only" event, but it was a great success amidst a large turnout, and the host city of Fujinomiya was very pleased with this "environmentally considerate event." The MI-12 series Future Light 40W straight LED lighting consumes only 22W including the power supply, which is less than half the power consumption of a 40W fluorescent lamp.
