Both the hose and fittings are very compact! There is almost no damage to the hose from coolant oil.

Much of the cooling water used in steel mills is beef tallow-based coolant (coolant oil). When this comes into contact with the surface of standard hydraulic rubber hoses, the outer rubber melts in a short time, exposing the reinforcing wire, which then corrodes, leading to hose rupture. The hydraulic rubber hoses used in construction machinery are subjected to harsh environments, such as cutting oils that cause swelling on the outer surface of the hose and repeated wear in cable carrier piping, leading to early oil leaks becoming a problem. To address such environments, the "SSC Series" has been developed.
