Heater-equipped double glazing
This is a multi-layer glass with a conductive film deposited on the hollow layer side, equipped with electrodes for conductivity. By applying current between the electrodes, the glass is forcibly heated, functioning as a heater-integrated multi-layer glass. The conductive film is nearly transparent, and the electrodes are not exposed on the glass surface, ensuring a clear view. It is also possible to incorporate heaters on both sides.
◇Single-Sided Heater◇
Please use it in an environment where the temperature on the low-temperature side is kept almost constant. Install the heater surface facing the warm side, heating the glass to a slightly higher temperature than the warm side ambient temperature, which prevents condensation even when reaching the dew point temperature.
◇Double-Sided Heater◇
Please use it in environments such as environmental testing chambers where temperature changes inside the chamber are significant. If the glass cannot keep up with the temperature rise inside the chamber, leading to condensation on the inner side, measures against condensation on both the inner and outer sides will be necessary.
Sanwise manufactures multi-layer glass in a dedicated factory. In addition to using it for in-house manufactured fittings that require low-temperature workspaces or some soundproofing performance, it is also sold as standalone multi-layer glass. Particularly, due to the ability to produce high-insulation multi-layer glass and multi-layer glass for use in special environments in small lots, it is utilized in various applications, including general residences, freezing and refrigeration facilities, and environmental testing chambers.
