[Seminar] Latest Trends in SAF Manufacturing Technology and Projects

Liquefaction of biomass, FT synthesis from syngas, CO2 and renewable energy electrolysis hydrogen.

Our company will hold a seminar on "Latest Trends in SAF Manufacturing Technology and Projects." Electrification of aircraft is challenging. Hydrogenated vegetable oils (HVO) are being produced globally, but due to environmental issues, waste cooking oil as a raw material is gaining attention, although it is quantitatively insufficient. In the United States, the production of SAF from bioethanol (ETJ) has begun. Furthermore, the liquefaction of biomass and the production of SAF from syngas generated through gasification of biomass and municipal waste via FT synthesis have also started. Additionally, many projects for SAF production from CO2 in the atmosphere and renewable energy-derived electrolytic hydrogen are being launched. This seminar will provide a detailed explanation of these backgrounds and technologies. 【Seminar Details】 ■ Date and Time: July 23, 2024 (Tuesday) 13:30 - 15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Address: 5-2-32 Minamiazabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Kowa Hiroo Building ■ Participation Method: In-person, live streaming, archived streaming ■ Speaker: Takaki Muroi Representative, ICLabo (Industrial Catalysts Laboratory) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Seminar] Decarbonization Liquid Fuel Supply Chain Technology Development / Business Trends

~A Thorough Comparison of Biofuels and Synthetic Fuels~

Our company will hold a seminar on "Trends in Technology Development and Commercialization of Decarbonized Liquid Fuel Supply Chains." The implementation of decarbonized liquid fuels in hard-to-abate industries, where reducing CO2 emissions is challenging, has become essential for achieving carbon neutrality (CN). As a practical response, there is growing expectation for biofuels derived from fats and non-food biomass, as well as synthetic fuels (e-Fuels) made from clean hydrogen and captured CO2. This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the entire supply chain, thoroughly comparing both fuels that are challenging decarbonization while ensuring stable supply and economic viability, and detailing the current situation and future developments. 【Seminar Details】 ■ Date and Time: October 29, 2024 (Tuesday) 13:30 - 16:00 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Address: 5-2-32 Minamiazabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Kowa Hiroo Building ■ Participation Method: In-person, live streaming, archived streaming ■ Speaker: Mr. Yasuo Hosono, Technical Advisor, Frontier Business Headquarters, Chiyoda Corporation *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
