Structural evaluation of PCP/MOF and zeolites using gas adsorption methods.

[Web Seminar] Lecture by Professor Masakazu Higuchi from Kyoto University iCeMS! Structural Evaluation of PCP/MOF and Zeolites by Gas Adsorption Method

With the advancement of various material developments, porous functional materials are increasingly attracting attention in the energy and environmental fields. In this webinar, we introduced the fundamentals of material evaluation using gas adsorption methods, which are essential for the characterization of porous coordination polymers (PCP/MOF) and zeolites, both of which are gaining attention as new porous materials. We also presented case studies on structural evaluation using new pore distribution analysis theories such as GCMC and DFT. Additionally, we invited Professor Masakazu Higuchi from Kyoto University's iCeMS, who is at the forefront of PCP/MOF research, to discuss the research trends and commercialization prospects of these materials. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Environmental impact assessment of pharmaceuticals and products

Why not assess the environmental impact of the chemicals used in your business, your own products, and competing products to lead to better product development?

At the Yokohama National University Environmental Safety Engineering Laboratory, which is the origin of our organization, we have been utilizing the knowledge and experience accumulated over many years regarding environmental safety to conduct environmental impact assessments of chemical substances. In this service, we evaluate and quantify environmental impacts based on available information, actual hearings, and analysis results such as the amount of organic matter and biodegradability. In addition to the commonly used carbon dioxide emissions, we can quantitatively assess the magnitude of impacts on ecosystems and environmental emissions, allowing us to identify where the characteristics and challenges lie. Please utilize this for quantifying the environmental impacts of corporate activities and your own products. We also provide support for explaining the evaluation results to internal stakeholders or other stakeholders as needed.

Low-cost environmental impact assessment

Evaluate products and services quickly and affordably for efficient improvement!

At the Yokohama National University Laboratory of Environmental Safety Engineering, which is the origin of our organization, we have been conducting environmental analysis and assessments of environmental conditions for many years. Additionally, we utilize this knowledge and experience to conduct environmental impact assessments of chemical substance emissions (PRTR reported emissions). In this service, we evaluate and quantify environmental impacts at low cost using existing information, interviews about actual conditions, and simple measurements. By assessing the manufacturing processes of new products, we can identify processes that contribute significantly to carbon dioxide emissions, compare the magnitude of impacts on ecosystems with existing products, and quantitatively evaluate environmental emissions. This allows us to quickly and cost-effectively understand where the features lie and where improvements can be made.
