There are two types of hanging bags: bottom-loading and top-loading. This time, we would like to introduce a customer's request, stating, "I am worried that the products will fall out of the bag since I will be putting heavy items in it..." It is quite rare for the bottom-loading type of hanging bag to experience product drop due to temperature changes or the passage of time. Conversely, with the top-loading type, the film itself supports the weight of the product, eliminating concerns about dropping. For this reason, we proposed the top-loading bag to the customer. They were satisfied with our suggestion, and we proceeded to a formal order. Additionally, there are other advantages to the top-loading type: - It can hold heavier items compared to the bottom-loading type. - It can accommodate thicker products by adding a bottom gusset. As for the design of OPP bags, there are many customers who request punch holes. The purposes vary, such as holes for displaying products in stores or for attaching to PET bottles for promotional use. This time, we would like to introduce a bag that solves the problem of products tilting when suspended during display. Typically, punch holes are often made in the center, but this time we created the hole off to one side. The position of the hole can be accurately determined by discussing the dimensions on all sides, allowing us to create the hole in the correct location. However, as it stands, the product may still move inside the bag, and the tilting issue cannot be resolved. This is where partition seals come into play. By applying a partition seal on the opposite side of the punch hole, we can prevent the product from moving significantly within the bag, and by placing the product on the side with the punch hole, we can also prevent tilting. Focusing on how to display products, achieving a good fit between the product and the bag, as well as ease of display!

Our products typically feature bags with corners on all four sides, but this time we incorporated a shoulder drop processing based on the following customer requests: 1. For a bag that holds a lunch box, we want to ensure that the corners at the top of the bag do not protrude when the product is placed inside. 2. We want to improve the visual appeal as much as possible when arranging the products. These were the two main points. Now, regarding the shoulder drop processing, when inserting thicker products, it is usually necessary to set the header portion longer than the width of the product. However, this increases unnecessary parts of the bag and distorts its shape, taking up extra space during display. Therefore, we decided to apply the shoulder drop processing. We made the header portion smaller than the product width from the beginning and cut both ends of the upper part of the header diagonally. This allows us to achieve a fit that matches the product size and eliminate unnecessary margins in the bag, increasing the number of different types that can be displayed in one location from three to four. In fact, bags with shoulder drop processing save about 10-20% more space compared to regular bags. This time, we would like to introduce a case study of a bag with corner cutting processing applied to the flap part. In sealing operations, there are methods that use glue on the flap part and those that use tape such as cellophane tape. 1. When sealing with glue for products of a certain thickness: If the flap part shifts even slightly from the main body of the bag, the glue may protrude from the bag and stick to other products. 2. When sealing with cellophane tape for products of a certain thickness: If the tape is not applied all the way to the edges, it may peel up, resulting in an unsightly appearance. (Applying tape to the edges increases the width of tape used and makes it more cumbersome to remove.) The solution to the above issues is "corner cutting processing." For point 1, even if the seal shifts slightly from a straight position, it can prevent the flap part from protruding from the main body of the bag. For point 2, it reduces excess material, minimizes the width of the tape used, and allows for a neat seal. There are various types of films used for bag-making, and this time we would like to introduce a bag-making case using matte film. We received a request from a customer stating, "We want to improve the visibility of products displayed outdoors, as sunlight makes them difficult to see due to reflections." While regular OPP film enhances the appearance of products due to its high transparency, this transparency also makes light reflections more noticeable. In response to the customer's request, we decided to use a matte film, which is different from regular films. Matte film, also known as non-gloss film, helps to soften light reflections and significantly improves product visibility. However, it should be noted that it does not completely eliminate reflections. Additionally, matte film has a calm atmosphere and offers a more luxurious feel compared to regular films. In this case, we used OPP matte film alone, but it is also possible to laminate it with CPP film for bag-making. Starting with the material of the film proposed this time, our experienced staff will provide suggestions on specifications and processing methods that will satisfy our customers.
