The advantages of the "rapid load test" include the fact that it does not require reaction piles, which can be an issue in static load tests, and that testing can be conducted in the space occupied only by the drop weight device. Additionally, it has succeeded in shortening the construction period compared to static load tests. In the analysis of rapid load tests, the stress in the pile body is in a fully compressed state, allowing the wave phenomenon to be practically ignored.
