The fibers are temporarily held in place to prevent them from scattering, but when preparing, you can gather the fibers in areas where strength is needed to increase density. Basalt fiber is made from basalt rock and is 100% natural material. With a size of over 9 microns, it does not float in the air and does not accumulate in the body if inhaled. The sheet has a soft texture similar to that of a vinyl string and can be cut with scissors. The entire sheet is temporarily stitched with white thread to prevent scattering, but it can be pulled apart easily. It is gaining attention as a 100% natural material to replace fiberglass, eliminating concerns about fine fibers floating in the air and entering the eyes or causing health issues from inhalation, allowing for safe long-term work.
