Automatic pretreatment using mixed acid (hydrochloric acid: nitric acid: pure water = 2:1:4) in work environment measurement analysis with DEENA2.

This document introduces the automatic pretreatment using mixed acid (hydrochloric acid: nitric acid: pure water = 2:1:4) in the analysis of work environment measurement with "DEENA3". The analysis of work environment measurement involves complicated reagent addition operations in acid decomposition, which is very labor-intensive. Additionally, there are concerns about human exposure to acid reagents such as hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, making the analysis hazardous. Technical Data: Metal Analysis Pretreatment of Rice and Rice Ears Using DEENA2

Fully automated analysis of metals such as cadmium in rice (brown rice and white rice) and rice ears, including the addition of nitric acid and perchloric acid, heating decomposition, cooling, and sample preparation!

Regarding the cadmium contained in rice, the standard limit was previously set at 1 ppm (mg/kg), but in April 2010, a revision was made to the standards for food and additives, lowering the limit for cadmium and its compounds in rice (both brown and white rice) to 0.4 ppm (mg/kg). Traditionally, wet digestion methods using nitric acid, sulfuric acid, or perchloric acid were employed; however, these methods were time-consuming and made it difficult to process multiple samples quickly. About the pretreatment methods for arsenic (As) analysis in JIS K 0102.

Utilize for labor shortages and work style reforms! Automation and efficiency improvement of pretreatment processes for nitric acid and sulfuric acid, etc.

The pre-treatment method for arsenic specified in the industrial wastewater testing method (JIS K 0102) involves complicated reagent addition operations during acid digestion, making it very labor-intensive. Additionally, the use of acidic reagents such as nitric acid and sulfuric acid poses exposure risks to humans, making the analysis hazardous.
