Suspended solids are captured by the bag filter! The treated water is released after passing through the neutralization tank, resulting in fluorine-treated terrace.

At Kurose Co., Ltd., we were processing with simple equipment but were considering a more environmentally friendly processing method. Therefore, we installed equipment that includes an additional fluorine treatment terrace to reduce fluorine levels below regulatory limits. After implementation, the levels of fluorine and its compounds were 0.5 mg/L, BOD was 21 mg/L, and nitrogen content was 25.1 mg/L. The sludge removal from the bag filter is now done about once a month, and the replacement of the terrace is done about once every six months, reducing the operational burden. Treatment of wastewater containing PFOS and PFOA.

The processing flow is carried out in the order of raw water, adsorption tank, supernatant coagulation treatment device, and discharge!

We would like to introduce the treatment of wastewater containing PFOS and PFOA. The treatment method involves adding 1% NAC-01 to simulated raw water, stirring for 10 minutes, then adding 0.05% TN315NY-T3, performing strong stirring for 1 minute and weak stirring for 2 minutes, and finally filtering the supernatant through 5A filter paper and sending it to the Japan Food Analysis Center for analysis. The results showed that the raw water had a pH of 6.5 with PFOS and PFOA levels at 0.00058 mg/L, while the treated water had a pH of 7.0 with no detection of PFOS and PFOA. 【Treatment Method】 ■ Add 1% NAC-01 to simulated raw water and stir for 10 minutes ■ Add 0.05% TN315NY-T3, perform strong stirring for 1 minute and weak stirring for 2 minutes ■ Filter the supernatant through 5A filter paper and send the water to the Japan Food Analysis Center for analysis *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
